Stylized logo for 'Choice Hotels' with the word 'CHOICE' in large gray letters and 'HOTELS' in smaller orange and green letters underneath, featuring colorful geometric shapes on the left.

To showcase the future of Choice Hotels properties, we didn't show the hotels. Five films, five metaphors, one month.

The Brief:

Choice Hotels needed a suite of metaphorical films to communicate brand strategy to investors, without saying it outright.

Working with their branding agency, I helped concept five distinct films across two live action shoots, an augmented reality gallery, and two stock compilations. A vintage Porsche. A decorated cake. An AR rebrand preview. Two narratives of connection and legacy. With scripts from the agency in hand, I built storyboards and mood direction to tie the suite together, directed talent across two days in Los Angeles, and delivered five finished films in under a month.

The Making of:

Woman holding a knife on a kitchen countertop with a yellow frosted cake topped with raspberries and blueberries, next to a pink cake under a glass dome, and a turquoise plate.
Person holding a child in front of a window at sunset, with city buildings outside.
